Brighter days are always ahead.

Can you believe it’s already the middle of March?! Y’all this month is flying by so fast!

March is one of my favorite months for a lot of reasons. There’s a sense of awakening and new life with the warmer temperatures and the birds chirping. We just jumped ahead an hour this past weekend and even though I’d love an extra hour of sleep, I LOVE the added hour of sunshine.

The month of March to me is the perfect metaphor of life.

The month starts out freezing and snowy. We’re all miserable at this point as we’ve just gone through 3 months of Winter. But the hope of Spring looms large, and one day it jumps to 60 degrees. The first “warm” weather day in March is AMAZING! People ditch their winter coats, open their windows, drink on patios, and soak in the sunshine — life is great on these days in March! Then all of a sudden, Mother Nature reminds us that we live in Wisconsin and there was snow in the forecast this week…yuck!

This rollercoaster of weather changes in March is much like the rollercoaster of life.

Maybe you’re battling anxiety, depression, the loss of a loved one, or the end of a relationship. You’d say the current season of life you’re in feels like the worst Winter day. You want to give up but you’re strong for your kids, friends, and family. Then one day you gain a new perspective, take a leap of faith, or start something amazing to make an impact. Life is great during this time as it feels like that first 60 degree day in March. But then fear, self-doubt, and regret overwhelm you.

If you listened to my latest episode with Carilu Robinson, you heard a very raw moment in the beginning that Steve captured. If you haven’t listened to the episode yet, click here!!

I thought we were done recording at that point, so I authentically spoke about my recent doubts that have crippled my mind about where this podcast is going and if it’s making an impact on anyone. I LOVE to empower this community to be fearless and overcome their challenges. However, I was being authentically vulnerable in admitting that still I face fear and doubts. After all, we are all human.

In the days since, I’ve been reminded that YES I am making a difference even when I don’t know it. I am reaching women who need to be reminded about how amazing they are. I am sharing personal stories about what I am facing in hopes to remind you that you’re not alone. I am featuring AMAZING special guests to elevate women in a world dominated by men. And most importantly, I am teaching my teenage daughter that ANYTHING is possible if you set your mind to it.

The good news is that no matter what you are going through, brighter days (and warmer months) are ALWAYS ahead! Trust me.

Please know that we’re in this together — not just in the month of March — but on the journey of life. I love y’all and can’t thank you enough for being part of this community!!!
